I have been a Personal Trainer for 17 years and the stepper is one of my favourite pieces of equipment.

The Proform CardioHITT H14 provides you with a full-body workout experience. The Proform requires both your lower body and upper body to perform the machine's basic movements. The stepper provides you with the opportunity to call upon large muscle groups e.g., your quadriceps, hamstrings, biceps, and triceps. The more muscles being recruited, means the more opportunity you have to maximise the calories burnt during your workout.

Throughout my Personal Training career, the stepper has always been a go to when training clients. The stepper is considered a low-impact machine. A low impact machine supports and reduces the impact on knee and ankle joints when performing exercise. As a Personal trainer you are always searching for that right level of intensity for your client. The sweet spot for any Personal Trainer administering a PT session, is one where a client can become uncomfortable experiencing an increase in their perceived exertion without the increased risk of injury. The Stepper can achieve this PT sweet spot for any user, due to being low impact and having the required resistance and harder level options.

As a mother, time to myself can be limited. The iFit software offers time poor users of the machine quick and easy workout options to immediately get straight into a workout. This removes the need to think about what to do and procrastinate about your training session. One of the iFit programmes I completed was called the Endurance Enhancer workout 2, with iFit trainer Shelley Rudd. Shelley was great and her instructional cues really pushed me to work hard. There was constant encouragement, technical cues instructing where to position your feet, and speed and resistance guidance.

24 hours post my exercise session, I felt my glutes and leg muscles had received a great workout. If you are looking to tone those areas, the stepper is a must!

Movement

With this high-definition, 14” touchscreen, it’s also easy to swipe through and view your workout stats, including speed, time, distance, calories burned, heart rate, and incline/decline stats I picked the endurance program which was a Tabata program with Hitt intervals starting at 10sec on and 10sec off building up to 30sec on 30sec off. The program was great for someone wanting to build on their fitness or who would like to target weight loss.
Grab hold of the heart rate monitors. The two hand grip sensors are conveniently built into the handlebars.

Water Bottle Holder
Stay hydrated throughout your workout by keeping your water bottle close. This convenient water bottle holder is built into the machine.

Fan
The machine offers you a built-in fan with two speed settings. Keep cool while training summer with this easy-to-use fan.

Resistance
The Stepper offers 26 digital resistance levels, the Pro HIIT H14 allows you to start out easy and progress. Each level feels smooth and silent.

Pedals
The large foot pedals offer several foot position options and provide stability. Its oversized pedals have extra cushion and are considered non-slip.

Front Mounted Transport Wheels

Transport or adjust your elliptical in seconds, thanks to the front mounted wheels. Whether you want to move the machine to another room or shift elliptical pedals to be the right fit for your stride, the wheels make it easy to manage.

Has multiple hand grip positions on the handles with HR monitor which is a great asset to monitor quiet and non-disruptive

Is quite compact however could be viewed as bulky
