One of the biggest misconceptions is that once you set your treadmill up it needs no further maintenance. NOT SO!

Most manufacturers add a layer of lubricant over the deck to all new treadmills. However, over time this layer can dry out or wear away with use. Without this layer of lubricant, heat and friction can cause major and expensive damage to either your deck, walk belt, control board and/or motor. By routinely applying Silicone Lubricant to your deck you are reducing the risk of damage, and adding longevity to your treadmill.
