The NordicTrack’s C14.9 Elliptical is a great product to add to your home workout routine. This machine has all the features you need for a full-body workout, including 16 levels of adjustable resistance and 20 pre-programmed workouts.
I have been using this machine for a few weeks now and have really enjoyed cross training with it as well as performing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) style workouts.
The foot pedals are large enough to provide natural motion, while the integrated heart rate monitor ensures that you stay within your desired intensity level. Additionally, the adjustable stride length allows you to switch up your workout and target different muscle groups.
The elliptical is considered non weight bearing, which has served me well as I have just recently returned to training from a recent ankle injury. My ankle has felt stable and supported by the BODYFIT cushion pedals.
The NordicTrack C14.9 Elliptical serves all fitness levels and experience. For the beginners, being able to access pre-programmed workouts will assist you with familiarising yourself when using the elliptical and for those intermediate and more advanced, there is plenty of resistance available to tackle a more freestyle inspired routine or test yourself using the onboard iFit technology. The iFit Elliptical training has a series of workouts that feature stunning visuals and professionally led workout routines by some of the world’s leading Personal Trainers. The training regimes and available routines are endless. Some of the standout workout routines include.
A Trek to base camp, with Lydia Brady Workout routines at various sites around the world (stunning beaches and nature trails) have been my personal favourite. Last but not least the group training experience, brought to you inside the comfort of your own home. Loud music, boutique studio like for like experience and the motivation from an instructor to keep you going.
From my Personal Training experience, I could never go wrong with the elliptical. It caters for most injuries, its non-weight bearing and it has a get on and off no nonsense approach about it. Overall, I see great value in purchasing the Nordictrack C14.9 Elliptical.
